Joan lives in Kibworth near Market Harborough, Leicestershire. She has been teaching Art in Further Education Centres for 25 years. Past Chairman of Leicester Society of Artists and Past Presedent of Leicester Sketch Club.

Joan has had "one man" Exhibitions in Litchfield City Art Gallery, at Vaughn College, Leicester and the Haymarket Theatre Leicester.

Her work has been acepted and hung 5 times in theRoyal Institute of Painters in Watercolours in the Mall Galleries, London. Her work hangs in private collections in the U.K., France, Holland, Spain, Sweden, Australia and the U.S.A.

Joan has a wonderful association with the Picturecraft Gallery and has been exhibiting successfully for many years.
